Jean-Roch CAITUCOLI, the manager, and François CELESTIN, the chef, are proud to announce the opening of the Restaurant RATATOUILLE,
rue Montmartre in Paris.
A top-of-the-range cuisine along with the finest wines in an elegant atmosphere, for your greatest pleasure.
RATATOUILLE has just opened its doors in September 2007 at 168 rue Montmartre in Paris II. Within a spacious dining-room overlooked by a vast mezzanine, the restaurant can host 90 guests on its two levels. Its main ambition in the short term is to become the den for gourmets in the whole district. Chef François CELESTIN, former “Second de Cuisine” at the Café de la Paix (Intercontinental), works out a creative and refined French cuisine.
The menu, which will constantly evolve according to tastes and seasons, proposes in particular:
- Appetizers : Among a large range of starters (8 to 14 €), you are offered to choose between an extraordinary home-made “foie gras” served with its onion chutney or a “crayfish raviole” which so far has made consensus among gourmets.
- Main courses : Among a choice of fish or meats (14 to 24 €), you can have a try at our poached seabass served with soy and cabbage in a ginger sauce, or our gorgeaous beef fillet cooked with Sichuan pepper with its bacon-wrapped slices of pumpkin.
- Desserts : Among varied desserts (7 to 12€), you probably won’t be able to resist our amazing warm chocolate cake, unless you want to indulge in tasting our exclusive red berry salad with a green tea sauce.
Before your meal, you can also consider sipping one of our excellent cocktails prepared and served on the counter, or order a glass of wine from our amazing wine list and have the occasion to taste excellent vintages at very reasonable prices. Connoisseurs will enjoy our “Château Montbousquet” 2004 (St Emilion) (75cl : 59 €), our “Château Grand Puy Lacoste” 2003 (Pauillac) (75cl : 53 €), our “Caronne St Gemme” 2003 (75cl : 27 €), or an excellent “Côteaux du Tricastin” 2006 (75cl : 17 €).
